Information you provide
Project inquiries. The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, project description, project location, timeline and budget range. A phone number is optional. The form requires permission for us to store your inquiry and contact you by email, or by phone if you provide a number, about your project. We use the information to review and respond to your inquiry. Our website stores the inquiry in a private database, together with the submission time and notification-email status.
Checklist requests. The checklist form asks for your email address. After you submit it, a PDF download link appears on the page and a notification is sent to the site administrator. The form does not currently email the checklist to you or enroll you in a marketing email list. The checklist form is not configured to retain entries in WPForms or send them to WPForms’ entry-backup service. The administrator’s notification email remains a record of your request.
Messages to us. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can handle your message. Please do not send financial account numbers, identification documents or other sensitive documents through the website forms.
Builder introductions
Our builder referral service is in development. A project inquiry is free and does not guarantee a match, quote or response time. We will ask your permission before sharing your contact details with a specific builder and explain any relevant referral-fee arrangement before an introduction. A checklist request alone does not authorize a builder introduction.
Website and email services
The website uses WordPress and WPForms to display and process its forms. Project inquiries also use the site’s separate inquiry-storage system. Administrator notification emails are delivered through Hostinger email services using WP Mail SMTP. These services process information needed to handle submissions and deliver messages. Technical information and integration scripts
Website requests transmit technical information to the servers handling them, such as an IP address, browser information, requested page and time of access. A referring page address may also be sent, depending on browser settings.
Some pages currently request integration scripts from Awin and Hostinger Reach. Their setup is incomplete: active affiliate conversion tracking and mailing-list synchronization have not been verified. Requests to outside services can still transmit normal web-request information even when an integration is not fully configured. See Awin’s privacy information and Hostinger’s privacy information. This notice does not claim that the site is free of cookies or tracking.
You can use your browser’s privacy settings to manage cookies and site permissions. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect website features. These settings do not remove information you have already submitted through a form or email.
Product links and other websites
Some product pages contain Amazon-tagged links and a commission disclosure. Following a tagged link sends its referral identifier to the retailer’s service, where the retailer’s privacy practices apply. The presence of these tags does not establish current affiliate-program approval. A purchase is handled by the retailer; the checklist and project-inquiry forms do not request payment-card details.
Other links lead to builders, plan sellers or official resources. Review the destination’s privacy information before providing personal information there.
How long information is kept
We do not currently have an automatic deletion schedule for project-inquiry records or administrator notification emails. Those records remain until removed. The inquiry records are stored separately from the form plugin and are not automatically deleted merely because a plugin is removed.
You can request review or deletion using the contact details below. We have not verified a single retention period covering all service-provider logs or backups, so we do not promise that every copy is removed at the same time. Any records that must be kept under applicable law may need to be retained.
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to submit a form. Email contact@hillcountrybarndoguide.com to ask about information associated with your submission, request a correction or deletion, withdraw permission for further project contact, or raise a privacy concern. You can use the same address to ask to exercise a privacy right available under applicable law.
Include enough information to identify your submission, such as the email address used and approximate submission date. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information before disclosing or changing records. Please do not send sensitive identity documents unless an appropriate verification method has been arranged. We do not offer a self-service deletion tool or promise a fixed response time in this notice.
